Unibet Open 2009 Winner – Warsaw

Jimmy Jonsson is the Swedish poker player who won €161,271 for being in top of a total 400 players who participated in the tournament at Casinos Poland in the Warsaw Hyatt.

Jonsson declared “I’d like to think it was all solid play but I obviously got lucky as well, you can’t win a tourney without some luck.”

Players from 25 countries participated with an approximate prize pool of €640,000. The final table was consisted of players from different countries.

The final heads up for Jonsson was against French Burlot, who won an approximate of €105,352 prize.

The Unibet Open event had a €1,500 buy-in and took place during Dec. 3-6. It was also the final event of the 2009 Unibet Open season.
