UIGEA stands for Unlawful Internet Gambling Enforcement Act.
These regulations will go into effect in the beginning of June 2010. The anti-poker measures in US will not be delayed and as a consequence they would prohibit banks, online wallet and credit card companies from sending money to Online Poker Sites.
These regulations passed from Congress, October 2006 and many poker players already make efforts to delay UIGEA, such as the Poker Player Alliance.
Pokerice would keep all US Poker players updated on the issue.
