
Lebanese Nicolas Chouity was the winner of EPT Grand Final, claiming €1.7 million!
Known as “niccc” he qualified through PokerStars and won the PokerStars.com European Poker Tour’s Grand Final in Monte Carlo, Monaco.
Chouity is only 23 years old and won his seat in a $22 rebuy PokerStars tournament. He beat Josef Klinger from Austria in heads up and became the second Lebanese European Poker Tour champion after Joseph Mouawad, who won EPT London some years ago.
Chouity’s dream came true and he was confident that this event will be successful for him.
A friend of “niccc”, Lebanese Dori Yacoub, won also the €25,000 High Roller event.
The EPT Grand Final Main Event attracted 848 players from 51 countries including 161 who won their seats on PokerStars. The total prize pool was €8,480,000.
